The Yashica Electro 35 GX, introduced in 1975, is the final camera in the successful Electro 35 series of 35mm fixed lens rangefinder cameras by Yashica. It features a fast and sharp Color-Yashinon DX 40mm f1.7 lens and shutter speeds up to 1/500 of a second. Although similar to the Electro 35 GL, the GX is significantly smaller, without any compromise in functionality.
