Edixa-500 is a 35mm film SLR camera made by Wirgin and introduced in c.1964.

It has a focal plane shutter with speeds 1/30-1/500 +B and internal automatic diaphragm actuation. The mirror is not instant return.

Similar cameras prepared for the installation of an uncuopled lightmeter are called Edixa-C-500 and Edixa-K C-500 [1]
