Tempor shutter on Rheinmetall Weltax
image by Süleyman Demir (Image rights) |
The Tempor is a leaf shutter made by VEB Zeiss Ikon Dresden from about 1952 in East Germany. Like most models of central shutter, it exists in several styles to suit different cameras in its time. It seems to be a copy of Prontor S range and it was a sturdy and reliable shutter.
