Not convinced that the information on KMZ logo dates is correct. I've got a lens in front of me that has the "post 1993" version of the logo but is engraved "Made in USSR" - the USSR fell in 1991. Additionally, I'm fairly sure I saw this logo on Russian microscopes in the seventies and eighties.
