A. Schacht was a lens maker based in Ulm, Germany, founded in 1959 by Albert Schacht, who had previously worked at Carl Zeiss and Steinheil. It made lenses for several popular lens mounts of cameras for 35mm film including Leica thread mounts Some of these lenses belonged to the standard lenses for the Edixa Reflex SLR. Schacht made also lenses for enlargers. The company appears to have stopped making lenses in 1970.
