The Polaroid SLR 680 is a instant foldable camera made by Polaroid Corporation during the 1980s. This camera has been discontinued since 2002, like other cameras produced by Polaroid. It uses the standard 600-type film, which is discontinued, now made by Polaroid Originals. This model was highly successful and popular at that time, and when it was discontinued, Polaroid was forced to make a newer iteration of the well loved camera. It was called the Polaroid 690. There is little difference between the two, as both are exactly alike design wise. The differences lies within, as the 690 uses the new 4 bit microcontroller, as well as the 690 was made in Japan.
