The Photina is a German TLR (twin lens reflex) camera for type No. 120 film rolls. It has not really a twin pair of lenses, thus it may be to be classified as pseudo TLR. Its lens is a Roeschlein-Kreuznach Achromat f9-85mm and its shutter offeres speeds from 1/30 to 1/100 seconds. Photavit made it also as Tower Reflex II for Sears.
The Photina II has a faster shutter (1/25-1/200 sec.) and a 3-element f3.5-75mm lens. It was also made as Tower Reflex III for Sears.
The Photina Reflex (many sources say Photina Reflex III) is a TLR camera that makes 6x6cm exposures on type No. 120 film rolls. It was made in the 1950s by Photavit. It is equipped with a pair of Steinheil München Cassar 1:3.5 f=75mm lenses, or with Isco Göttingen Isconar 1:3,5 75mm lenses. The shutter is a Pronto with speeds 1/25 sec. to 1/200 sec. plus B mode, or a Prontor-SVS shutter (as the one in picture on the right) with speeds (in seconds): 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/300 plus B mode. Camera lens and finder lens are gear coupled for finder screen focusing. Photavit made it also as Tower Reflex 30 for Sears and as OGA-Reflex for Obergassner.
Some Photina Reflex were sold with a set of two additional lenses to focus from 25 to 50 cm.
