The Mudan was marketed through Friendship stores, special tourists' shops in China. It was made by the Dandong Camera Factory and resembles the Seagull-4B. It has a pair of coated f=75mm 1:3.5 lenses and a PC flash synchronized leaf shutter with speeds 1 sec. to 1/300 sec. plus B mode. The first two digits of its serial number represent its year of production. The camera could be used for 12 6x6cm shots or 16 4.5x6cm shots on one type No. 120 film roll.
