Mars Shashin Kōgyō-sha (マース写真工業社) was a Japanese company based in Tokyo, Ebara in 1943.[1] It was listed in the April 1943 government inquiry as the maker of the Patent Mars shutter (T, B, 1–250) mounted on the Semi Mulber, Semi Zeitax, Semi Miss and Starflex. The company also made the Lex shutter (T, B, 5–200), and perhaps the Balnet shutter found on some Baby Balnet cameras.
