Mamiya Seiichi (間宮精一)[1] (•17 Jan 1899 †6 Jan 1989) was Japanese inventor and camera designer. Together with the investor Tsunejiro Sugawara Mamiya founded the Mamiya Kōki Seisakusho (マミヤ光機製作所, Mamiya Optical Works). Tsunejiro Sugawara beame President of the Company,[2] while Mamiya Seiichi served as 'Chief Engineer' until his retirement in December 1954 and then as adviser.[3]
