Koike Seiki K.K. (小池精機㈱) is mentioned by various sources as the maker of the Aruba 35 and Aruba 35 II viewfinder cameras from 1952 to 1955.[1] The name KOIKESEIKI is engraved on the lens of the Aruba 35 II, but the attribution is otherwise unconfirmed. It is probable that Koike Seiki was related to the company Nihon Seiki, maker of the Nescon 35 that seems to be the successor of the Aruba 35 II.
Various companies called "Koike Seiki" seem to exist today, but none is related for sure with the camera maker.
