The Brownie Cresta was made by Kodak Ltd. in the UK between 1955 and 1965. It was made of plastic and took 6x6cm images on 120 film. The "Kodet" lens had a slider for either a yellow filter or "close-ups" of 4-7ft. Similar construction to the Brownie 127, but larger.

There were three models:

The original Brownie Cresta had horizontal ribbing on the body.

The Brownie Cresta II added pin & screw flash contacts, and the horizontal ribbing on body was changed to a crossed pattern.

The Brownie Cresta 3 had the top changed to grey, with a "Kodak" label on an added panel beside the viewfinder and restyled lens panel. The Kodet lens was replaced with a Dakon; due to the increasing popularity of colour film, the yellow filter was replaced by a second aperture stop. The viewfinder had marks for the new "Superslide" format.
