In Germany young and old like Käpt'n Blaubär, an old sea bear who's been everywhere in the world where you can find a harbour. He can be seen often in German TV. Sometimes he tells stories about his journeys to his three nice young nephews who tend to believe not a single word of what their uncle is saying. Of course he's the master of telling fish stories.

The Käpt'n Blaubär Camera is a typical toy camera for 35mm film: Single shutter speed, no focusing, no choice of apertures, optical viewfinder, film advance thumb-wheel, film rewind crank, and a switch to open or close the lens cover. But it has a remarkable front design: A relief shows the Käpt'n holding a lifebelt.
