A.C. Jackson was a British camera maker in the late 19th and early 20th century. It worked as a subcontractor for various resellers, and did not publish its own advertisements.[1] It made the Ilex cameras in the early 1900s. In March 1904, the company was absorbed by Houghtons and the production of the Ilex cameras was taken over by the latter.[2] It is said that Mr. A.C. Jackson continued to manage the factory in Hackney (a borough of London).[3]
