The Ica Halloh was one of the camera types that Ica took over from the product portfolio of one of its founding companies, from Dr. Krügener in Frankfurt am Main. It was a dual concept folding bed camera, designed for making 8×10.5 exposures on rollfilm as well as exposures on 9×12 format plates or sheet film.

The Ica Halloh 505 was available in a version with 1:6.8 13.5cm Ica-Novar-Anastigmat lens in Ica Shutter with speeds from 1 sec. to 1/100 sec. and apertures from f6.8 to f36 . Another version of the Halloh had a Dominar lens.
