The Fujifilm nexia Q1 zoom is an APS camera made in China for Fujifilm (Japan). When the camera is turned on, a motorized drive slides the built-in lens cover into the body and the lens automatically protrudes out. Two position zoom function is controlled by a lever behind the shutter release button, left for wide and right for telephoto.
An LCD panel on the back just under the viewfinder will give the following information; Three levels of battery condition display, full, half, need replacement. Film cartridge loaded display with three levels, no display = no film cartridge loaded, steady display = film loaded, blinking display = fully used film cartridge. Frame number. Flash ready symbol, will blink when charging and remain on steady when ready.
