Dax Shōkai (ダックス商会)[1] was a Japanese company based in Tokyo,[2] that advertised the Chrome Dax 35mm camera in 1937. It is not known if the camera was actually sold.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  1. The correct Roman spelling is unknown, but "Dax" seems plausible.
  2. Its address in 1937 was Tōkyō, Shibatamura-chō 4–4 (東京芝田村町四ノ四). Source: advertisement reproduced in Kokusan kamera no rekishi, p. 78.
