Employees of the former Franke & Heidecke managed to relaunch the production of some of the insolvent company's products. Therefore they founded the DHW Fototechnik GmbH. DHW had its successful debut at the Photokina 2010, having found new customers, especially on South-East Asia. Main products are the Rollei 35, the classic Rolleiflex TLR, the medium format Rolleiflex 6008 AF (Autofocus), the Rolleivision slide projectors and the Rolleiflex Hy6 which can be used with state of the art digital camera backs and film as well.
The company primarily focuses on high end, medium format digital and analog SLRs for professional photographers and TLR & 35mm collectibles.
