Canon's TLb is a 35mm SLR with a focal plane shutter, introduced in 1974. It is a cut-down version of the Canon FTb, without the hot shoe and QL feature, and with a maximum shutter speed of 1/500s in place of the FTb's 1/1000s. It has TTL metering using a CdS cell, powered by a mercury battery.
