Optima Rapid 250 V is a 35mm rapid film viewfinder camera made by Agfa and introduced in 1966. It belongs to Agfa Optima Rapid series of automatic cameras with 24x24mm exposures on Rapid cassettes.
The Optima Rapid 250 V replaced the Agfa Optima Rapid 250. The general aspect is smarter and more modern. The speed and the aperture are entirely regulated by the Selenium cell exposure meter according to 9 indexes of light (programmed auto-exposure). The lens is Agfa Color-Apotar 35mm f/2.8. The shutter is Paratic V and speeds 1/30-1/250 and a self-timer. In the bright-frame viewfinder, there are red or green signals indicates the cuts-off of coupling of the exposure meter. Focusing is manual front focusing type by symbols scale or distance scale.[1]
