It was one of the last manual focus rangefinder cameras produced by Canon, based around the [[Canon Canonet 28]] body it was superseded by the autofocus [[Canon Sure Shot/AF35M/Autoboy]] in 1979. It features a built in automatic flash but has no abilty to connect an external one.
